封麵很傳神瞭：故事中加上迷霧、噪點，是倫敦的基調是戰爭的暗湧。作者的筆觸是往故事上營造其顆粒感，過期膠捲與雙重曝光。初期如同愛麗絲漫遊仙境般，有種探險的刺激感。隨著故事往前推進，就不再是一場愉悅的冒險瞭。是英國病人的味道（並未讀過其他小說），語言依舊很美，但更為緻鬱一些。沒想到後麵還有講到……布局也是很精心。有時候確實是能猜到故事的走嚮，所以可能略有點刻意。

一口氣看完瞭。喜歡！保留瞭英國病人的詩一樣的語言和精美的記憶片段拼接圖一樣的講述方法，但是故事比英國病人要緊湊易讀。fascinating to see his characters in the city...

太喜歡Olive瞭，在二戰和冷戰接連不斷的創傷中，她就是自由和鮮活的化身，極盡灑脫~~真正的自由，是把自己還給自己。

又被捧得那麼高？衝著作者的名氣，逼著自己看完1/3，實在寫的一般。形散不要緊，神也散。想要說明什麼呢？通過Nathan的眼睛在觀察齣現在他身邊的一些人物，so what？一點也沒意思。如果要這樣看完80%，再憋個大招的話，實在憋不住。棄瞭。
