所有学社科的人都应该读的书。网上有下载。少数服从多数的"民主"是很少见，他们在夸雅典和斯巴达多么自由或平等的时候没有说起那些奴隶。//"政体"这个概念很大程度上就是一种无法实现的乌托邦一个政体的功能分'装饰性'和'实用性',装饰性包括仪式和军队；实用的那一部分就是bureaucracy，其实完全可以用协商政治代替。// 最平等的一个社会也会有相互抵触的“力量”，"现代"民主只是激化这些力量，让它们针锋相对。"现代"这个概念也是人造出来的，社会的构成其实没变多少。"没有政府人类就会互相残杀"完全是谬论//人类学家才是最有资格总结关于"人性"的规律,但他们目前还是拒绝这样做 // 身份政治是新的假想敌想要创造一个没有身份构建的社会是困难的，人类学家所能做的就是解释这些“据来”的标签是人造的。
