看的是第五版，LAGCC這學期用的教材，感覺太淺瞭，練習要從contemporary linguistics裏麵藉不少。
评分相當好的教材，邏輯嚴密，通俗易懂。
评分這個太簡單瞭，大一的時候精讀課就用這個做教材。近來讀瞭一遍第三版的，第四版的也讀瞭一遍。這本書似乎最新已經齣到第6版瞭
评分簡單但是有用。感覺比An introduction to linguistics 要好不少。
评分網上下的PDF，內置的目錄索引和詞條解釋很方便。 整本書編排非常有邏輯，從語言的起源，到構成語言的單位一級一級遞增，到語言的習得，到語言的演變和文化，思維就像躺在一葉小舟裏麵，隨溪流徜徉而下，一路經過大河大江最終匯入大海，整個過程非常地舒服。 作者的目的也隻是單純地帶著讀者領略下語言的全貌，要想對一些語言現象一探究竟的讀者可能在這本書裏找得到方嚮，但在想深入的話就隻有靠自己繼續探索下去瞭。
