英文翻譯比中文的版本更地道，將齊美爾具有整體性的生命觀道盡。生命的形式與過程。齊美爾雖然大量引述或評述瞭康德的生命哲學論點，但是最後還是批判瞭康德以整體性代替瞭生命的個體性觀點。我的看法是角度不同而已。

Lebensanschauung, the most interesting part in this book lies in Simmel's argument that life is self-transcendent; it is, to use his term, simultaneously "more life" and "more than life." No wonder he has an impact on Heidegger.
