原书（英文版）还不错，， - -！虽然翻译量很大译者很辛苦，但是小错误不断也太不应该啊，尤其是公式里出现下标错误、赋值错误，，有时候被搞到一头雾水，还得去找英文电子版对照，，第三版新加的内容错误更多，，越到后面越不认真了？

书的信息量太大，字数很多，不是入门的教程，适合对这一领域有所研究的人来构建自己的知识系统，依我看，应该是研究生以上的人买的比较多，还算不错吧，主要是国内同类的书太少了。

适合对于图像处理，以及信号处理基础知识欠缺的入门读者，有些很重要的概念诠释的很不具体，其中包括小波变换，图像增强数据压缩部分。所以在阅读本书的时候，也只是对某些章节有挑选的阅读。总体觉得不值得推荐。
