首先要说，我没能把中文版看完，当时是看到ent居然翻译了本书....出于对他平常写的文章的好感马上买来看了，可是翻译的并不好，所以转回英文版，这才享受到极致体验。 作者是英国人，我们九零年前后生的人可能都比较习惯美式英语，这是一个读原文的障碍。作者使用的英语可以说...

（写在最初的最初：作者本人是个演化学家，从书的标题也可以看出，整本书是从演化的角度来阐述问题的，所以这些书中还没有实锤的一些理论是否一定是最合理的解释是很难确认的，因为作者一定会从演化理论的角度去找一个最make sense的理论出来，我们在看的过程中，除了被科普的...

关于性的那章，解除了我一直以来的疑惑。如果只靠变异，一个基因要消亡必须是所有个体的消亡，并且没有后代，非常残酷。如果是这样，我们有这么多共性，必然是共祖的，那也不太像。正解应该是性，可以融合基因，同时逐渐把坏基因淡出，这样就比较温和。
