其实把这本书作为大英博物馆的参观指南或者路线图有些不合适，因为所选的很多文物的价值其实在于“背后”，当然按图索骥如果能回忆起这些背后的故事也是很有收获的。看完最大的感慨就是专家和普通人的最大区别就在于这些“背后”的知识。建议直接看英文版，文字很好，也不太难懂。

100件物品都是大英博物馆馆藏，涨知识，而且文字非常简洁明了，就是篇幅比较长。偶尔有为西方殖民掠夺行为洗白倾向，所以要批判地阅读[酷]
