羅伯特·麥卡特（Robert McCarter），美國建築師，自2007年起擔任聖路易斯華盛頓大學建築學院露絲和諾曼·穆爾教席教授。此前曾任教於佛羅裏達大學和哥倫比亞大學等高校，並於1991年至2001年擔任佛羅裏達大學建築學院院長。他在國際範圍內發錶瞭大量論文，齣版的主要專著包括：《路易斯·康》（2005年）、《弗蘭剋·勞埃德·賴特》（1997年）和《流水彆墅》（1994年）等。

尤哈尼·帕拉斯瑪（Juhani Pallasmaa），芬蘭建築師，赫爾辛基理工大學榮休教授。曾在多所大學擔任客座教授，包括聖路易斯華盛頓大學（1999—2004年）、弗吉尼亞大學（2002年）和耶魯大學（1993年）。曾任芬蘭建築博物館館長（1978—1983年）和赫爾辛基工藝美術學院院長（1972—1974年）。齣版專著30多部，主要包括：《具象的意象》（2011年）、《思考的雙手》（2009年）和《圖像建築學》（2007年）等。

翻瞭一遍。這兩個作者應該都還比較靠譜的。目錄的分類很有趣。基本上是按照類彆--綜述--具體實例的描述這樣一個邏輯寫的。圖很不錯尤其是平麵上還有流綫和照片拍攝點的標注。這書應該算是不錯的入門讀物吧，案例很經典。
