跑團記錄是個小玩笑，但並不影響我認定馬丁是個愛講故事（oral storytelling）的人，因他麵對的正是愛講故事的人必須麵對的大難題之一：如何說服聽眾不過度運用他豐富的經驗去阻礙他自身進入故事之中？用「很久很久以前，在某個遙遠的地方……」自然是一種方法，但未免有侮辱現代聽眾智商之嫌，所以創造可信的虛擬世界成為瞭更貼閤時代的手段。但頗令人無奈的是，很多聽眾正因為這些世界的可信激發瞭其運用自身豐富經驗的欲望，最後侮辱瞭智商……
