如题。本来理论的东西就比较晦涩，唐的翻译建筑把这种晦涩呈指数倍扩大！让我在阅读的过程中频繁怀疑自己的智商！明明是中文，却看不懂！好的著作需要更好的译者。职业建筑师的理论书也需要职业建筑师来翻译，而不是理论家。

库哈斯不愧是写过剧本的人，建筑史也能写得这么戏剧化，充满了零碎信息与连贯故事，而纽约的确是舞台，创造每一刻都在此上演。如果哪天哥大开设了New York Studies的PhD我一定拼上老命去报考（。最近一年太多人问我How did you like New York? 而我的回答总是The city was perfect but unfortunately I was too inadequate to handle it. 我恨自己不能带着足够的知识去鉴别、去欣赏、去最大限度地享受它，我也恨不管在下次前往之前读了多少书走了多少路，我依旧不能说我在纽约得到了我能得到的全部。它太丰富，我却永恒匮乏。
