Stoppard might be too intelligent an author to be appreciated by the general audience. However, even without a profound knowledge of Greek and Latin poetry, or the history Oxford scholarship, or late Victorian societal values, one can still understand Oscar Wilde's wistful words "we would never love anyonre if we see through our invention."

百分之五十看不太懂，很多拉丁语和希腊语的梗，主要想看看他是怎么写AEH的，对话年轻的自己，打破时空的设置很厉害，对彼时英国高等教育的讨论还是挺有趣的，Tom Stoppard这种高等话痨病患者真不是我等俗人能消受的。
