Gripping story, cleverly engineered. I really enjoyed the first 2/3 of the book. However the ending seems forced to me.

Flawed as this novel might be in its perspective, its adequacy of ellipticality as well as its construction, especially that of the end, it is still a devastatingly lovable piece, for it has the haunting effects of the absence of the significant female character Molly, the careful delineation of the rarely-seen side and dirty facet of human nature.

本來這種劇情發展我是特彆喜歡的！作者在這篇小說中又展現齣瞭對非專業領域驚人的瞭解程度。《星期六》裏是醫學，這裏是音樂。但可能因為之前看星期六覺得太喜歡瞭吧，讀這本書的時候自然就會有很大的期待，然而它沒有足夠地迴應我的期待，有一點點小失望~
