雖然不少人對斯諾的判斷頗有微詞，但說真的，講起文理之間“你瞧不起我，我看不上你”的狀態，第一個跳入我腦海的還是這短短的幾十頁字。一直不太明白，那些對未知事物擺齣的“言之鑿鑿”姿態的人，腰杆子是得有多硬？是得補瞭多少鈣纔能拗齣的造型。

【五九原版 序恐不同】斯諾的觀點：文理分傢是個問題 純科學傢太不懂社會 但解決世界貧窮還是要靠科學傢 所以兩個文化不應該分傢。以下是我：1959年之後 世界又變瞭模樣 斯諾要美國教育嚮蘇聯看的願望沒實現 這是因為學科專業化是不可逆的。這不是壞事 情懷之前先要有生計 科技産業的小農經濟化本身預示著生計/利潤帶來的迫切感。文化一詞斯諾用起來並不帶著優越感 是人類學意義的 但是精英政治思維卻是實打實的 這也是為什麼我對古典式的通識教育完全無感——已經沒有現實的土壤瞭 非要那樣不是矯情嗎。現在提防科學主義有點奢侈 還是先提防著不講科學的主義吧
