爱德华多·加莱亚诺(Eduardo Hughes Galeano)，男，1940年生，乌拉圭记者、作家和小说家，生于蒙得维的亚，14岁时创作的政治漫画被报刊采用，先后担任过周刊、日报的记者、编辑、主编。1973年乌拉圭发生军事政变后入狱。曾流亡12年并被列入阿根廷军事政权的死亡名单。其作品已被翻译为超过20种语言。著有《火的记忆》（1986）和《拉丁美洲被切开的血管》（1971）。2010年荣获斯蒂格·达格曼奖。

这本书别的方面大多看过基本上很像依附理论不过里面谈到拉美落后是因为人口太少的问题实在很囧。作者大谈拉美落后缘故之一是因为新教徒的传教士们在拉美大量发放避孕套并宣传少生育..造成大量田地荒芜人口大量饿死囧死了作者对拉美开出的药方是拉美搞国有化，还提...
