鲍文蔚（1902—1991），男，江苏宜兴人，早年考入北京大学文学院攻读西洋文学，毕业后留学法国先后在北京大学、中法大学、东北大学、北洋大学、山东大学、解放军外语大学、北京外国语大学等校执教。他翻译了法国作家拉伯雷的百科全书式的杰作《卡冈都亚与庞大固埃》，首创译名《巨人传》，译作一经问世，即在我国文化界引起强烈反响。其他译作有《雨果夫人见证录》《浪子回家》《旷工之歌》《论巴尔扎克》等，并将郭沫若的《周易的构成时代》《先秦天道观之进展》译成法文。

完全被里面的插图吸引了.但是排版的方式使的图片看上去跟整本书气质很割离.真希望出更好的版本,那我会考虑买一本收藏了. 故事不用多说. 我觉得巨人传拍好了也能有查理与巧克力工厂那种感觉.

拉翁真够拉风的。怪不得这本书被禁了N次。拉伯雷在书中太为所欲为了，几乎是想怎么写，就怎么写，毫无禁忌。宗教和法律的上上下下、里里外外，没有他没照顾到的，都骂了个遍。重点部分，还反过来、掉过去的骂。各个章节十分松散而随意，似乎是拉翁想起来就写一段、再想起来...
