唐世平，長江學者，復旦大學國際政治學係教授，博士生導師。他獲得學位包括：古生物學學士（1985）、分子生物學碩士（1988）、分子生物與遺傳學博士（1995），而之後纔獲得瞭國際關係碩士學位（1999）。他的研究領域廣泛，涵蓋國際政治理論、製度經濟學、政治理論、社會科學哲學。他在這些領域都做齣瞭世界水平的研究，並且有廣泛的著述。2015年，唐世平憑《國際政治的社會演化》一書獲國際研究協會（ISA）的“年度最佳著作”奬，成為首位獲得該奬項的亞洲學者和中國學者。鑒於他的多元訓練，唐世平的社會演化範式或將把中國國際關係理論的學生帶入一個嶄新且充滿機遇的知識前沿。
