Tom's other bestsellers are Strengths Based Leadership, Wellbeing, and Eat Move Sleep: How Small Choices Lead to Big Changes. In total, his books have sold more than 6 million copies and have made more than 300 appearances on the Wall Street Journal bestseller list.

In addition to his work as a researcher, writer, and speaker, Tom serves as a senior scientist for and advisor to Gallup, where he previously spent thirteen years leading the organization's work on employee engagement, strengths, leadership, and well-being. He is also a scientific advisor to Welbe, a startup focused on wearable technology.

Tom previously served as vice chairman of the VHL cancer research organization. He holds degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Pennsylvania, where he is now a regular guest lecturer. Tom, his wife, Ashley, and their two children live in Arlington, Virginia.

测的准不准见仁见智,我觉得不能算不靠谱,准确度估计在70%左右,让我比较欣赏的是行动指南真的写的不错,平时或许你也知道自己或多或少有某方面的才能,行动指南可以告诉你如何真正的把优势建立起来,他的一些小建议是挺实用的

真正了解自己的话strength 就很容易找了。

刚工作的时候公司花钱给员工做过一次和Strengthsfinder差不多的MBTI测试,感觉这玩意就和星座血型今日气势差不多, 反正我不信。另外吐个槽,专注于自己强项这种生存方式,在我国很可能连中学阶段都撑不过去就被淘汰了。

老板专门从美国给我们每人带了一本,通过里面的测试让我了解到自己的5个强项为:1.Focus; 2.Leaner; 3.Achiever; 4.Maximazer; 5.Input. 测试我认为是很准的,里面还对每项给了建议以及如何跟有相关特点的人相处,主要是工作关心。美国的这些现代管理思想的确很科学,了解自己才能知道如何更好的与他人协同工作。用人之长,容人之短。
