A tesseract (in case the reader doesn't know) is a wrinkle in time. To tell more would rob the reader of the enjoyment of Miss L'Engle's unusual book. A Wrinkle in Time , winner of the Newbery Medal in 1963, is the story of the adventures in space and time of Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin O'Keefe (athlete, student, and one of the most popular boys in high school). They are in search of Meg's father, a scientist who disappeared while engaged in secret work for the government on the tesseract problem.

這本書是和學生一起讀的，後來沒時間就聽喜馬拉雅錄音，繪聲繪色哦。雖說是fiction，有些語句還是頗有哲理的。詞匯有一些難度。 Meg、 Charles和Calvin在三個witch的指引下到瞭另一個星球企圖拯救父親。在那個星球有邪惡力量存在，後入侵瞭Charles的身體。最後通過meg的努力將Charles救齣，四個人迴到原來的世界。 LOVE SAVES ALL LOVE RULES. LOVE IS THE KEY.

感覺作者想要錶達的東西很多，但又無法深入展開，畢竟作為兒童讀物，太深奧反而不能取得孩子的喜愛和共鳴。就"時間的皺褶"這一立意來講，蠻不錯瞭。
