最近關注大選新聞，對於一些bloggers說"贏瞭caucus並不代錶某一候選人在該區有有影響力"這個說法不解。這本書解答瞭我的問題，而且區區一百多頁裡解釋瞭各種選舉的候選人產生方式和選舉方法，黨派在各種選擇中起到的作用，黨派是如何決定分配選舉資源的，廣受詬病的electoral college為甚麼難以改革，以及錢能不能買到選舉等等的問題。對於最後的一個問題，推薦聽The American Life的上一期podcast "Take the money and run for congress", 這個podcast 和這本書一樣十分的informative。
