文字很有灵气，尤其the husband stitches, eight bites 和the resident，句子用词很抓人，节奏气氛也营造得得心应手。不过总觉得文字表象下的立意处理得不够成熟，后劲不足，读完想说"蛤？？"描写lesbian的部分让我咋舌。especially heinous 实在没看下去。最后两篇里的人物让我怀疑可能是作者本人的性格投射。

Erotic nightmares. When she looks into the mirror, time and space fades and she sees her horrific, alien, suffering self, and this nakedness gave thrills. This book takes over shower thoughts for weeks, mystifying even one’s own reality— faded female bodies flowing out in droplets from the shower, girls-with-bells-for-eyes peeking from the ceiling.
