The use of statistics to the layman in improving the quality of life through wise decision-making is emphasized.

還是大一時讀過，那時候主要感覺是：不明覺厲。現在重讀理解的就多多瞭。這不是一本用公式理 論推導寫成的專業書籍，而是從統計科學結 構、思想甚至思考角度構成的專業書籍。沒 有太多的公式，更注重解釋統計科學的基本 思路，對於入門或梳理統計學都相當有幫 助。
