本来以为很枯燥的书，没想到内容十分有趣。

原为一的太平洋亲身经历, 历任"天津风"舰长, 27驱逐队司令(旗舰"时雨"), "矢矧"舰长, 从开战坚持到战争结束, 确实是"奇迹舰长".

Fine example of wartime primary source writing. Interesting if you love naval warfare history. Terribly boring otherwise. Also lol at how it ends with the sinking of the Yamato and the author in the water. I guess that is technically the end of his naval career.

印象最深刻的地方在于，开头时出征浩浩荡荡，航母、战列，队列一望无际。到最后只剩下大和、一艘巡洋舰几艘驱逐舰就是日本海军剩下的所有家当了。
