原版读完！天知道我是怎么读完的！感觉小说写了一种被利益捆绑的、相互寄生式的爱情关系。男主迪克依靠妻子妮蔻的金钱，在社会立足；相应地，他要成为妻子的专属精神病医生，以换取这些东西，逐渐，他就陷入了学术停滞并且自我厌恶的泥沼。他妻子妮蔻也好不了多少，属于必须得找一个人当做情感依靠才能活下去的那类人。虽然她看似无辜，实际上是在吸食迪克的生命力。这段关系的结局，就是情感寄生者吸食完一个人的灵魂，丢掉他的躯壳，然后去找下一个……好吧，至少读完原版，我是这个感觉。不知道中文版是不是会变成另一本小说（大概率会）。
