What I admire Murakami most is that he's such a good runner. By good, I didn't mean his speeds but the great persistence he possessed. In a recent interview, Murakami said he had revised all the English translations of his works so it feels closer to him while reading the English versions.

沒想到春上先生在西方也頗具影響，他除齣小說傢和翻譯傢的頭銜，還是位馬拉鬆愛好者，33歲時他開始長跑，理由是身體是寫作的本錢，每年至少一次馬拉鬆也堅持瞭二十多年瞭，可跑步畢竟是枯燥乏味的事，寫到最後實在沒什麼可交代的瞭，於是把騎車和遊泳加上，這樣鐵人三項就齊活瞭。
