我只读过英文版，不过杨老师的翻译绝对是值得信赖的。我认为，这本书是社会学所产生的最杰出作品之一。另外，有意思的是，国内学生对于理性选择的接受程度似乎远高于美国学生——一个很有意思的知识社会学课题。

Matching Economics on Religion. 我真是给跪了，复习的时候看几百个propositions看得我快疯了。虽然总是觉得religious economy有点牵强，但是读着读着又会不自觉被带入角色。总之还是很useful的一套theories

"people go out being religious in much the same way that they go about everything else" is fundamental to the whole argument of the book. Although being the weakest point, it is not easy to refute.

依舊是rational choice theory，雖然不喜歡，但是提供不錯的視角讓我「跳出來」去想問題。大多proposition都前提預設了普遍性條件，沒有將之置於具體的語境之中。（或者作者其實就是很有野心地想建立普遍化的宗教理性選擇理論）
