The truth is Lulu and Sophia would never have had time for a playdate. They were too busy practicing their instruments (two to three hours a day and double sessions on the weekend) and perfecting their Mandarin.

很认同虎妈的教育理念，但并不觉得这是本好书。

美国图书馆里借的kindle版，比较认同里面的教育理念，管比不管付出的要多，小孩子没有太大自制力，大人的监督是让孩子更好地在一个方面付出努力，并在获得成果后以内在的动力坚持下去，并获得自信。以后也会在其他领域自律和努力。回顾我的成长过程，母亲耐心的陪伴和监督让我在一些事情上坚持了下去，让我之后做事都有了自信和动力。我很感激她。

This book aroses a lot of my different kinds of feelings. My teers are falling, cause it's reminds the hurts from my parents, and the pain in my growing experiences. However, at the same time, at this age, I definitely appreciate my parents, their sacrifice, their love, their expectation.And I am so glad that I can be their child.

Some may say Amy's suggestions seem a little bit extreme, whereas they were highly effective and useable, so before criticizing her coaching method, retrospect what your parents have done to make what you are today(likewise you and your own kids). Maybe prosperity can never last for generations, but philosophy can--to be exceptional
