不建議當入門書看 作者預設讀者已經對歐洲英國文化背景有基本瞭解 我自己覺得大篇幅放在瞭探討“英國” 而不是“文學”上 加上舉例批判理論的方式和錶達都比較英國白男 看得我腦袋一抽一抽 已經入門當快速的梳理還有一點用 但是如果閱讀感受非常流暢的話 又沒必要看這本書瞭

短小精悍，算是上乘的英文文學入門引導讀物。能在這麼短的篇幅裏把中世紀開始到現代的英文文學大亨的名字都講瞭一遍，雖然不可能講透，但是盤點這個領域的牛人就是最好的入門課啦。
