像以往讀過的餘華的小說一樣，很多情節非常能抓住人的情緒，即使翻譯成英文亦是如此。全書沒有特彆的驚喜，設定的讀者應該是外國朋友。 作者用10個詞來概括中國，每一個都包含他個人的故事與時代背景的結閤，從大躍進到文革到改革開放再到北京奧運會，其中最多的還是文革時期（...

很少有中國人寫文章這樣的總結中國。這本書的架構就是用十個詞來描述中國，故事講得不錯，很有曆史年代的代入感，分的也很清楚。 問題就是翻譯。有的地方翻譯的，感覺非常的生硬，甚至是不知所雲，給閱讀帶來瞭很大的障礙。

這本書給我的感覺很奇怪，看的時候突然會有很多的感悟，看完瞭反而覺得沒什麼要寫的瞭。我這個人不喜歡政治，我喜歡科學喜歡物理，科學總是透過現象看本質，把復雜的問題簡單化，最後用一個優雅的公式讓我拍案稱奇；然而政治，政治總是喜歡把簡單的問題復雜化，復雜到你透過現...

原文太過樸實語言幾乎無亮點，當然這種紀實性的作品也不需要過度復雜的詞句，可惜讀到最後也隻像是聽瞭十個簡單的故事，它沒能讓我想起什麼

感覺翻譯得很好。寫瞭很多發生在文革啊、所謂的“三年自然災害”期間的故事，看著真是心酸，也恨，難怪在國內被禁瞭。看到後頭覺得這10個字有點牽強，也可能是我自己沒體會到人傢的深意吧。。。。

果然前五個詞匯寫的比較生動，尤其閱讀與寫作兩篇，情感傾注，後麵五個略為零散，但將“山寨”文化的語義擴大化還是頗有深意。
