終於把狄更斯老爺子這本書讀完瞭。讀的過程很艱難，尤其在網上看過一句話說，如果你覺得讀不下去的書，就扔掉，換彆的書讀。我也一度想放棄，但我總覺得這樣對不起狄更斯老爺子，我也想知道過程有時晦澀一些，那結局究竟會哪樣？我也不確定自己是否真的能讀下去，我有個不太好...

讀這本書，於主綫之外，關注到其中旁逸的一些情節。有一種領悟，原來，現代社會之於人的深刻影響長久以來便存在。譬如，賈格斯律師事務所裏的辦事員威米剋，這個人物給我留下的更深刻印象不是他的精明乾練，而是他把在小不列顛街的工作和在瓦爾沃思城堡的生活截然分開...
