我一向不习惯责怪翻译——如果翻译差就去读原文，没什么好说的。另一方面，读不太懂哲学或者社会学著作的原典，我也觉得没什么好惭愧，每个人天赋秉性各异，能读多少、能懂多少，便是一个人的事功。理解这件事，也许真是福柯所说的那样，是一个“近在眼前又永不可及的地平线”...

其实不是什么书评，仅仅是吐槽。本来没看完书就评价是一件很不道德的事情。不针对书，仅仅针对翻译。看英文版就已经云里雾里，想着看看中文版对照研究能进行得快点。可是不曾想这翻译只能让人更加迷糊。通篇都找不到一个地道的中文句子。翻译痕迹实在太重，已经到了影响正常...

FYS001 Chap 7 在读这本书，但真的是把索绪尔扯到Urban Studies, 用signifiers和符号学来theorize city, 这才是Firsr Year Seminar感觉不是很友好

233早上第一节课边上别的院的GN也在看这个然后两人一起吐槽简直太难懂哈哈哈。开头，德赛托关于鸟瞰和在street level观察一个城市的讨论其实完全就是现代小说的第一人称叙事和第三人称的全能视角的关系，“it's hard to be down when you are up” 也很有意思。然后我觉得最容易懂也是最精彩【或者就是因为容易懂orz】的是火车车厢那一章。
