有些洞见，但现在看来也有些司空见惯了，分析太枯燥。其实关于逃避自由的一个很有趣又小的例子就是苹果战胜了机海战术的诺基亚。关于真正自己的讨论特别是怎样协调计划经济和个性，轻轻带过，让人不得有“重要的是如何改造世界”的感叹。

第一次真正读完一本心理学的书，还是英文原著，本以为一个月啃完，用了一个周，读的酣畅淋漓，以欧洲史为基础，分析人在各个时期freedom的变化。但是最感慨的还是书的最后：有多少你觉得自己努力追求的其实只是周围内化给你的，当人不再因为外在的因素而选择职业爱情生活的时候才是freedom。读的过程中想到了民族奴性、施虐受虐型人格，放下后却有种无力感……
