對小白來說是挺好的一個梳理epistemology的東西，至於書中所言的experiment，對我個人而言，是相對於一個我不太熟悉也無法想像（比如essentialist/functionalist mapping of cultural meaning system）人類學的早期探索而言的，所以從今天迴看所提的experiment未見得很新。但是是一個把民族誌研究的認識論、本體論、power以及writing幾個主題勾連起來的佳作，在這個意義上給我個人很多啓發。當然，書非常地美國中心主義，讓它對薩義德的批判顯得有些諷刺

Apart from reflecting on power relations and the crisis of representation (which has already become a far more perplexing job when technology today is refashioning people’s life in a so dramatic way), then, maybe anthropologists could also rethink the way they intervene the reality?
