In this paean to "one of the truly exceptional American success stories," Michelli convinces the reader that Starbucks is a great company, but he stumbles when trying to extract "precepts that can enhance your business and your personal life." 沒有看完這本書,我想一個企業要做到這個程度還是很難得,這些經驗有這個行業的特殊性。其實我也不覺得星巴剋就完全做到瞭書裏麵的要求,尤其是在服務端。
評分其實我對business的書一嚮興趣濃厚,但是企業文化這東西對我來說就很扯蛋瞭。關於invest in people的部分感觸不大,但是embrace resistence這一章比較有趣,舉瞭一些好玩的例子,比如“在茶文化的國度裏如何推行咖啡”,“在敵對文化的區域,如何消除誤解”等等。
評分沒什麼建設性,無非就是be nice然後be hip,老闆不想賺錢想做好産品,於是就有瞭不怎麼掙錢的賣好産品的公司。
評分good and useful experience but better promotion for Starbucks. It makes you feel pride to be connected with Starbucks, no matter you're staff or client or just resident having a Starbucks in your community.^_^
