内容和精神都有明显对上一本translation and globalization的继承，更多的还是对全球化与文化多样性的思考，对翻译的思考反倒稍显陈辞滥调了，但可以近乎全身而退地跳出传统翻译研究的二元思维也很值得肯定。当然，这肯定得益于文化研究的范式，也再一次证明文化研究自己的生命力。而克罗宁的文化生态意识显然也跟他爱尔兰的出身有重要关系，让我好好反思了自己曾经十分欣赏的“世界主义”。
