講的是英文寫作，但原則性的東西也適用於中文寫作。

很棒的寫作書。有30％是關於寫技術方麵，但可惜隻是以guideline寫得比較簡短，要看詳細的如何構造句子段落等還是推薦Style。其他部份有講文風，有講如何創作，最棒就是破解瞭很多寫作的迷思。很難記筆記的一本書，基本上所有的內容都有用，是像How to Read a Book一樣要經常拿齣來查閱的工具書。

萬維鋼推薦，講的東西很受用，這幾年的寫作一直都受益於這本書，感覺比那本著名的 風格感覺 還要好，唯一不足就是車軲轆話，但可以理解

Simple but elegant. 易讀且實用的英文寫作指導書，解答瞭一直以來的很多睏擾，值得反復精度。
