我的第三本譯作，很喜歡。

相比於茂呂美耶的那本《明治》，這本實在是紮實得太多！很好的閱讀體驗，能瞭解到不少十九世紀末的日本和美國，女性教育的發展。三位主角跌宕起伏的人生故事，大大增強瞭書的可讀性。美中不足是結尾似乎處理得太倉促瞭些，又或許是我還想讀到更多的故事吧。
