评分毕竟是中国人,对中国经济的理解和拆解能力强于很多国外学者。书中不乏很有深度的观点,比如贫富差距的扩大不能只关注表面的收入差距,而是大量寻租活动导致资产所有权的归属错配。黄育川对户口问题的认识则比较理想化甚至单纯,如果对圣保罗和里约热内卢有过研究就应该明白中国一直被人诟病的户籍政策依然是当下最优选择,而在货币政策和汇率上想法也很奇怪,是否经得起推敲持保留意见。也许在民主国家的长期生活使人更容易从人权的角度出发分析问题,但是对于人口大国来说,经济发展中有些弯路必定是以牺牲个体及少数群体为代价的,未来一定能从人口增量大国印度和尼日利亚的发展轨迹中看到似曾相识的现象。
