这种书我大概每天能读完两本。时下很应景。

这本书内容不多，但是后面关于未来的探讨和一些图很有意思。 3位作者对于未来的担心集中在：（1）2008年金融危机之前，基准利率是5%+，而2019年只有2%+，传统货币工具的空间不足；（2）财政赤字在2008年也不用太担心，所以在金融危机发生后的减税效果很好。但是特朗普上台之后就大力减税，如果发生金融危机后仍然减税，一方面面临财政赤字上限的约束，另一方面也面临效果边际递减的局面；（3）2008年金融危机期间，两党的通力合作，而在特朗普上台之后，两党之间分歧严重。如果发生规模跟之前类似的金融危机，能不能让国会迅速赋予美联储和财政部足够的权力来拯救危机，是让人担忧的。另外，从后面的图表可以看出，2008年的金融危机，其危害主要集中在金融市场，而对实体经济的影响的深度和时间并没有很大

这本书在微信读书上有，前面基本就是老生常谈+自我辩解，但是最后一个chapter值得花钱买英文kindle版，是写financial crisis和fed monetary policy/liquidity toolkit的绝佳材料。对美国未来持比较悲观的态度吧，QE这个东西就是个潘多拉魔盒，keynesian economic讲得好听，但是人性本身就会让deficit出现的likelihood大于surplus，从而根本没什么offload govt deficit和fed balance sheet的机会。Good luck to America
