Arguing that every scientific concept and theory--including his own--is culturally conditioned, Fleck was appreciably ahead of his time. And as Kuhn observes in his foreword, "Though much has occurred since its publication, it remains a brilliant and largely unexploited resource."

不敢想象這本書竟然齣版的這麼早……感覺奠定瞭整個之後Science Studies的認識論基石（雖然其實可能也難說後麵的認識論是他打下的，因為這書，非常諷刺地應瞭他自己的論點，被埋沒瞭這麼久，彆人未必真讀過並被影響過）
