這書的最大貢獻大概是讓我對Freud 和 Sade發生興趣。然而，不得不說的是Sade那章還是讓人覺得突然而淩亂。

蠻有意思的一種approach。以前看的時候我是完全沒看懂，現在就能夠明白為什麼Lynn Hunt要這麼寫瞭。是一本很有啓發性的很重要的書。不過，話說迴來，Lynn Hunt的這個family romance並不是多元的。為什麼女性就不會有自己的fantasies啊（要是沒有fantasies，沒有自己的想法，她們纔不會去把路易十六從凡爾賽宮裏麵揪齣來）？而且“反革命”的那些人呢？他們的family romances就不算數瞭（大概直到路易十六逃亡Varennes失敗，他們的構想裏麵也還是有國王/父親的一席之地的）？
