剛去完紐約，然後在飛機上讀，感覺就在身邊。

中國人和人生的悲哀，severed tie的悲哀。平凡而艱辛的人生故事，錶現得像老一代移民那樣堅韌和不動聲色，連挫敗都是淡淡然的。我們為什麼要到這裏來，而究竟又為什麼而存在？短篇小說結構非常Classic，人物及其conflicts 設定得精準和迅速。
