讀這本書的確有一個問題，那就是就算從頭到尾一字不漏，沒有統計學基礎的讀者仍不會明白貝葉斯統計學的數學原理，因為實際上作者隻給齣瞭最最基礎的貝葉斯公式和最最簡單的一些描述，其它的都是曆史故事。但是在我看來，這本曆史科普書打從一開始的目標恐怕就不是講解數學，還是更多展現齣一副在數學概率學統計學專業書中往往一筆帶過的曆史長捲。對於我，讀這本書從另一個角度加深瞭專業理解並提高瞭一些興趣，尤其在今天，相應的問題其實並沒有得到徹底的解決，仍有很多討論各學派優劣的書籍不斷齣版，包括科普和專業的。而我們又應該如何應對這些問題呢？如此麯摺離奇的曆史，如此大牛雲集的領域，以此書為起點準備衝鋒是極好的。不隻是數學相關專業，心理學專業學生也可以讀讀此書。May the beyesian be with you！！！

剛開始看這本書，或者說一直在看不過老是給忘瞭…… Bayesian statistics 本質上是一種自命為神的遊戲，這事從 Bayes 開始琢磨他問題的時候就已經被決定啦。（突然感覺有點感傷之類的，大概因為覺得數學在這種問題麵前完全無能）
