在 MIT online study 的網頁上看到瞭他們開設有video game的課程，看他們的學生作業無非就是寫點halo warcraft bioshock 之類。這些學生可爽瞭，天天打遊戲當寫作業。那門課程的reference就是這本書，salen& zimmerman寫的， google book 上有全文瀏覽。

如果閱讀這本書的目的是為瞭學習設計遊戲的具體方法，那我推薦去讀《The Art of Game Design》。如果不滿足於遊戲設計的具體實現，想要瞭解遊戲設計背後的原理，看這本書是沒錯的。但就像其副標題說的那樣，這本書隻是個基礎概論，涵蓋瞭遊戲設計的方方麵麵，但都蜻蜓點水一般...
