跨越他整个写作生涯的短篇小说集，从最初的Meditations到最终的Hunger Artist。没想到最爱的故事居然是In the Penal Colony，也非常喜欢The Judgement。他明明会幽默俏皮（The Aeroplanes At Brescia），但既然能挖掘出比常人多十倍的细节（Little Woman），于是人和事物都像是发生在慢镜头下，真令人焦躁不安。
