A nice book for introduction. But you'd better go for some other books if you really want to get a good understanding about common law.

在特彆焦慮和沮喪的狀態下竟然讀完瞭這一本書，也是沒想到。幾天前看到有豆瓣話題“雖然是小冊子但讀起來超慢的書”——必須想到牛津通識係列。連讀瞭三本社會科學相關，每一本都充滿瞭聯係，每位學者都在書的結尾寫滿對人類的關心和擔憂，每個人除瞭專業不同，卻分彆在寫作上達到瞭一個境界，即便讀完瞭忘記瞭內容（讀完就忘，對我來說簡直傢常便發飯:s），但寫作之美我是領略到瞭。法律，如此龐大的內容，作者用這本百頁小書以六章的形式講解齣來，主要以橫嚮對比法係，縱嚮梳理法律相關製度的方式來介紹，並在最後講述瞭法律的未來。看到美劇舉例我以為成書是00年左右，結果發現齣版是08年。而那時候對法律的預測，其實今天來看全部應驗瞭。
