Finally, the book includes beautiful illustrations related to the context of these intellectual and architectural movements, with reproductions of rare publications of the 1960s as well as seminal projects and exhibitions. A part of the FORuM Project Publication series published in association with the Temple Hoyne Buell Center for the Study of American Architecture at Columbia University.

建築理論真的不適閤純文字的錶達方式，一篇essay就夠瞭，彆動不動就寫書

Aureli的勇氣挺鼓舞人的，無可為而為之的精神棒極瞭。讀關於Rossi的分析，三點：1. Rossi的自主性與美國的那些強調學科自主是不一樣的，2 Rossi與Tafuli之間的自主性，一個積極介入，一個消極批判，前者希望有一個political subject的狀態存在於資本主義中，3 A的思考和寫作似乎就是想要扛起意大利知識分子曆史責任。 P63論述Rossi的Locus蘊含的separateness in terms of political reading完全就是Aureli在那本後來absolute form書中的理論邏輯基礎。

對Rossi 的typology as autonomy and criticism結閤曆史進程進行瞭清晰的剖析，講明瞭Rossi的建築和政治理想。讀下來感覺Aureli, Tafuri 和Boyd有很多相似之處：塔最悲觀，被Pasquale Paola 稱為a provocative cynical nihilist。Aureli最實際且相對樂觀，正值壯年，勇於和資本主義既得利益集團抗爭。Boyd死得早，批判的雖然是另一個話題，但是洞察力和憤世嫉俗的語調於前兩位毫不相讓，在他身上難得看不到澳大利亞人天生的傻性。
