强力推荐，是宇文同学前期思想的集中表述，贯穿了包括《追忆》和唐诗史的众多内容。但宇文在本书中运用的essay写法，使其较容易地掩盖了该书中许多重要观点的历史缘由，追根溯源，宇文并非创新先锋，很多见解只是汉学传统的延续和现代版本罢了。
