特蕾茜·K.史密斯 Tracy K. Smith，出生于1972年。首部诗集《身体的问题》（2003年）赢得2002年度“小心恶犬诗歌奖”；2005年，史密斯被授予2004年度“罗纳？谢斐作家奖”和“鳕鱼奖”；诗集《魔力》（2007）荣获2006年度美国诗人学会“詹姆斯？劳克林奖”和“精华文学奖”；诗集《火星生活》2011年出版后好评如潮，被评为“纽约时报名著”。这部诗集包括如阿瑟？克拉克和大卫？鲍伊，以及部分为她已故的父亲——一位在哈勃太空望远镜工作的工程师的挽歌献词等不同题材。2012年4月，史密斯凭借《火星生活》赢得美国普利策诗歌奖。2017年6月，史密斯成为美国桂冠诗人。

译者远洋，1962年生，武汉大学毕业。中国作家协会会员。翻译过获得诺贝尔文学奖、普利策诗歌奖、艾略特诗歌奖的诗集20多部，刊登于《世界文学》《诗刊》《译林》《红岩》等20多家刊物700多首，并发表了大量评论文章。译诗集《亚当的苹果园》江苏文艺出版社出版发行,荣登数十家媒体推荐榜单，入选“全国2014年文学图书排行榜的靠前00”；《夜舞——西尔维亚·普拉斯诗选》2016年6月由漓江出版社出版发行，《重建伊甸园——莎朗·奥兹诗选》2016年8月由江苏凤凰文艺出版社出版发行(入选“深圳十大佳著”)，均获得广泛好评。
