虽然老说他文风轻浮段子手，但有时候畅销书作家开拓素材和寻找角度的方式真的很值得学习。莎翁研究卷帙浩繁，看了一肚子前人研究，吐出来的可能是一篇枯燥的综述，一本研究史，也可以如侦探小说般悬念丛生，从档案、票据、诉讼文件等零星的确凿证据中逐步推想出莎士比亚的时代面貌及其生平。作者时不时吐槽前人研究中太过鸡零狗碎和神神叨叨的部分，原来全世界都一样，经典化的过程难免走火入魔——前半截想起鲁迅研究中的“鲁迅家的灶台究竟朝哪个方向”，后半截则像红楼梦研究中的“石破天惊！红楼梦作者实为冒辟疆！”

深入浅出好好看！竟然一直没读Bryson要把他的书全都看一遍！不过这个更多的是对时代和轶事的解读对了解作品基本没帮助

中间其实稍有混乱，不过总的来说，尤其是综述anti-Stratford的部分的确enlightening
