看書評和作者的感覺應該是本好書啊，應該是以老人的口氣寫給小朋友的書，並且這個老人是研究藝術史的，應該能把這兩者好好的結閤起來，從不同的角度講一講，但是翻譯的是在太差瞭~讓人都讀不下去瞭~ 有沒有可以直接讀的英語版？

每一個孩子讀這本書都會覺得在和一個學識淵博、內心充滿寬容仁愛的友善叔叔/爺爺聊天吧。幫助讀者建立一個框架，讀者未來攝取的知識都可以像拼圖一樣放進這個框架裏。還是歐洲史為主，畢竟作者是歐洲人。本來是寫給孩子看的，語言是對話體的，成人看稍顯幼稚，但內容還是很好的，能夠體會到作者盡自己的全力盡量公正地去呈現曆史，也提醒讀者這種呈現永遠不可能是準確的。前麵有一個作者孫子寫的序言，講述瞭這本書創作的雋永故事。這是貢布裏希唯一一本用德語寫的書，而他人生的最後就是在自己修訂翻譯這部作品，可惜沒有完成就去世瞭，最終這本書從德語到英語的翻譯是他的助手完成的。

頭兩章不錯，後麵就以歐美史為主瞭，其他洲沒多少存在感。做少兒讀物還行，我抱著學曆史常識學詞匯的目的來的，這個就有點太淺瞭
